Information about Trafford Council's work on Kingsway

Whilst of long-term benefit to our scheme and the town centre, the current work on Kingsway is not part of our redevelopment project and is taking place totally independently of Bruntwood.

This leaflet has been produced by Trafford Council and AE Yates, the main contractor for the Kingsway works, which provides more information and a map regarding any diversions.

As you will see, Trafford Council is looking to make the Kingsway and Barton Road junction safer and greener as part of its transformation of Stretford. Plans include new crossing points, cycle lanes, footpaths, trees and green spaces.

The Kingsway carriageway has been re-designed also to reduce speeds and improve the space for cyclists and pedestrians.
