The independent three-screen, 150 seat venue is located on Pinnington Lane in the town centre. It will showcase a carefully curated programme of new releases, family favourites, cult classics, events and community-led screenings, establishing itself as a vibrant hub for both local residents and visitors.
Film lovers can enjoy movies with state-of-the-art digital projection and immersive surround sound, designed to deliver exceptional picture clarity and rich, detailed audio across all three screens. Comfortable tiered seating, generous legroom and carefully considered sightlines ensure an intimate, high-quality viewing experience in every auditorium.
Each screen has wheelchair space and the Dolby Accessibility Solution (DAS) allows hearing impaired customers to have subtitles for most films delivered to them personally meaning all shows are accessible for all. Relaxed screenings for those who struggle to cope with a full cinema experience where lights are left up and volume reduced.
Every aspect of the cinema’s design is carefully thought out to give the highest quality cinema experience. The interiors feature soft lighting, contemporary materials and relaxed lounge areas that encourage visitors to linger before and after screenings. A cosy café-bar will serve locally sourced food and drink, offering everything from artisan coffee to evening refreshments, making it an ideal spot to meet friends or unwind.
Opening weekend screenings include the new Ryan Gosling, film Project Hail Mary, and The Bride starring Jesse Buckley. There will be a chance to catch BAFTA winners One Battle After Another and the ‘bosom heaving, gasp inducing thrill ride’ that is Wuthering Heights. There are films for children with GOAT featuring Saturday and Sunday. The first week has sixteen different films - definitely something for everyone!
Forthcoming events and special screenings will include Saturday Morning Kids Club, plays from the National Theatre, Ballet from The RBO, the Turner & Constable Exhibition and much more to follow.
